Cool Text Generator

Add decoration to your words: sparkles, stars, brackets and ornamental frames, some combined with fancy fonts.

This generator runs in your browser and needs JavaScript. Please turn JavaScript on and reload the page. Nothing you type is sent to a server.

About this tool

Where most generators here change the letters, this one adds frames around them. Each result wraps your text in symbols from Unicode blocks for dingbats, geometric shapes, Japanese punctuation and Javanese ornaments. Six of the results also change the letters to bold, script, bubble, monospace, fraktur or small caps, so the decoration and the style match.

Decorations are plain characters, so you can edit the result after pasting, delete a side you do not like, or swap one symbol for another from the symbol text generator. Short text looks best because the frame carries the style.

Compatibility and limits

Decorative symbols are drawn by different fonts on different devices, so hearts, stars and ornaments can change in size or color. Some platforms replace a few symbols with emoji-style images.

Text made with Unicode characters can be hard for screen readers to read and may not match searches for the original words. Keep names, links and important details in plain text.

Frequently asked questions

Will symbols count toward the character limit?

Yes. Every symbol is one or more characters, so check the limit with the letter counter.

Why do my hearts turn into pictures?

Some devices draw certain symbols as colored emoji. You can usually swap them for a plain version such as the outlined heart.

Can I use these as usernames?

Only where the platform allows symbols. Many services restrict usernames to letters, numbers and a few punctuation marks.
